Excessive Dryness

I enjoy using cleansing balm to remove my makeup now ever since I started using them, I can not stop. As for this super berry dream cleansing balm, it is amazing! It is so easy to scoop and apply onto the skin. I feel so clean and hydrated after using this!

Enlarged Pores

I had super high hopes for this balm, but after using it nightly for over 2 weeks, I have thoughts. I will first mention that have been using cleansing balms as a first cleanse for about 4 years, so I have experience with a LOT of different ones and have some favorites. Because I’ve been using balms and have an established skincare routine, I did not see nor expect to see any drastic changes due to starting the YTTP balm.Pros: I love the ingredients in this balm; lots of nourishing oils and no unnecessary yuckies. It washes off clean and doesn’t leave a film. It removes makeup well. Cons: the formulation is a bit dry. It’s almost crumbly? But it does soften up to more of an oil balm when rubbed between the palms, although it just doesn’t soften up as much as I personally prefer and takes a bit of work to rub into the skin fully. The other big negative with this balm is that it stings my eyes. I’ve never had a balm do that and am not sure what ingredient is causing it. But it’s unfortunate, because I tend to like to let my cleansing balm sit on my skin for a moment after rubbing it in so that it can really do the good work and dissolve all that gunk in my Enlarged Pores, and I can’t do that if I can’t open my eyes. This balm gets three stars for ingredient quality and cleansing ability, but it doesn’t knock any of my favorites out of their spots, and while I will use what I have, I don’t see myself repurchasing this.

Breakouts/Acne
Tan
I have been using this light face cleanser twice a day; morning and evening for a period of 6 month now, I have sense a difference in the minimization and appearance of fungal acne on my cheeks and forehead. My skin feels refreshed and clean every time I use it. It's safe on sensitive skin and the scent is very pleasant!

Excessive Oiliness
Medium/Tan
I have parts of my face that are oily and some very dry. This is my favorite face wash by far. Doesn't make my face dry up too much or get too oily. It is perfect for you mild face wash everyday. Definitely recommend for skin like mine or for strictly oily skin

Sensitivity

I have really sensitive, this does not irritate my skin at all. It also really helped with redness on my cheeks. Usually I have a hormonal break out once a month and since I started to use this I haven’t had that problem.

Rosacea
Light/Medium
I have rosacea and I had just been using drugstore face wash and exfoliators, but a dermatologist let me know I should be using products w/ antioxidants. This, then, is the holy grail product. I LOVE the smell and it just makes me feel so fresh and clean. This, combined w/ my other recs for Rosacea (some of the Dr. Andrew Weil products from Origin + Tatcha Indigo Soothing Cream + Metronidazole (prescribed by doctor) and Eucerin redness night cream) has made such an improvement to my skin. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR SENSITIVE SKIN AND ROSACEA!!

Dullness
Light/Medium
I wanted to try a new face wash for my skin texture and dullness which what the face wash says it helps with. It didn’t at all. It made my face worst. It broke me out and dryed out my skin. I even follow up with my hydrating moisturizer. I have oily/Combination skin. My skin texture wasnt bad but after using the face wash for about two weeks hoping my skin would show improvements it just made it worst. I really wanted to love it but I cant. Its a very basic face wash I wouldn’t recommend honestly. I like the glass bottle, the pump and it smelled good.

I was so excited to try this out..I loved it for the first few times but like other reviews, it’s drying. It definitely stripped my skin of natural oils and I will be exchanging this

Sensitivity
Medium/Tan
It takes all of my makeup off and makes my skin feel great, but it stings my eyes. I don’t know what exactly it is that stings them, possibly the fragrance, but I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, which is a shame because I love YTTP products. It works, but I don’t think my eyes hurting is worth it.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Fair
It's okay as a cleansing balm but I didn't care for the weird earthy/factory-like smell. I'm also kind of disappointed that it didn't come with a spatula, especially for the price. I much prefer the one from then i met you but that's just a personal choice. It's also kind of hard to scrape out with my finger so I just wish it was made a little bit softer. It does emulsify and wash off just fine just not a fan.

Dullness
Light/Medium
It’s a nice, gentle cleanser and I like the subtle herby scent. It didn’t dry out my combo skin and I would imagine that this would be okay for people with sensitive skin. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it is pricey and I don’t think it necessarily did anything to improve my skin (like dullness, Fine Lines and Wrinkles). I don’t have sensitive skin so I could just use other cleansers for less money.

I’ve been seeing this for a while now and wanted to love it, but it gave me fungal acne. I do feel like for the right person this cleanser might be perfect though.
