I'm making it a habit to wear sunscreen every. single. day! Finally got this, and I love it. Yes, the cream itself is white, but once massaged into skin, the whiteness is gone! In the morning, I use 2 serums, a moisturizer, this sunscreen, and some concealer under my eyes, around my nose, and chin. I've had no pilling and no flaking, and this sunscreen doesn't make me look greasy like some others do. This is a home run for me!!

Excessive Oiliness

I'm working through some samples of this one now. it's a somewhat whipped texture, and somewhat slightly heavier than all the other new zinc formulations on the market currently, and with a pleasant zero scent/ zinc scent that smells exactly like what you'd expect a clean sunscreen to smell like - I find it refreshing that there's zero fragrance (EOs) added too. This is also a good formula for people who don't want oils in their sunscreens as there might be some evidence that those oils oxidize in heat/ sunshine. I have light skin, and this doesn't leave a white cast on me. It's a good summer/ humidity formula...no oils to make your skin oily in the humidity, and no chance of oil oxidation in the summer heat/ sunshine. I like it.

I've tried a couple products from this line and loved them all. After going through a couple sunscreens I've finally found 'the one' I have combination skin and tend to breakout but this sunscreen keeps breakouts away. This product is not oily and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky. No sticky feel and it does not clump my moisturizer which other sunscreens were. (I also tend to be on the drier side of the spectrum) I highly recommend this product, you wont be disappointed.

I have maturing, dry-normal skin with redness from tretinoin. I wear sunscreen every day, and haven't had issues with chemical ones though I like the idea of using something more gentle and mineral based. Zinc is a white mineral, so it's nearly impossible to not have white-cast with a zinc based product unless it's tinted....it's the fundamental physical properties of the ingredient. So yes, this lotion for sure leaves a white cast (even on my fair-pale skin), and because it's a physical barrier it also is heavier than chemical sunscreens BUT it is not nearly as heavy as some I've tried. It's also pleasantly moisturizing, but I think those with more oily skin might dislike it. MAKE SURE TO LET IT SET!! There is a dry-down change, but it took over 10mins for me to really see a difference, and I live in a moderately dry climate. I tried mixing it 50/50 with some foundation (how I often use foundations) and that helps with the white cast a bit, but that decreases the SPF of course. Haven't tested it in sun, but if I knew I was going to be outdoors in the sun for the day, I'd use something SPF 50 or higher. I wish they'd release a tinted version - light, med and dark tints, so it would eliminate the white cast and be inclusive.

I wanted to love this because I love Farmacy and it has clean ingredients (unlike many SPFs), however, I found it to be chalky and drying and it made my face break out. I am not acne-prone and have never had acne issues. This not only made my face incredibly dry, but also I suddenly had a major breakout. Also, I'm pale, but it definitely still has a white cast. According to other reviewers, this is a new formula that's not as good, and while I haven't tried the original, I have to agree that this formula is not good and I'll be returning the product.
